Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of Aletheia Strategic software (“Software”) provided by Locked In Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.
1. License Grant #
Upon purchase, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on hardware you own or control. This license is for your personal or internal business use. You may install the Software on any number of devices you personally own or operate.
2. License Restrictions #
You may not:
- Redistribute, sublicense, resell, or rent the Software to third parties
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except where permitted by applicable law
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
- Use the Software to provide a managed or hosted service to third parties
3. Intellectual Property #
The Software and all associated intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Locked In Labs. Your license grants usage rights only. No ownership or IP rights are transferred.
4. Updates #
Your license includes access to all updates within the major version you purchased. We may offer future major versions as separate purchases. We are not obligated to provide updates, but when we do, they are covered under these Terms.
5. Open Source Components #
The Software may include open source components governed by their own licenses. A list of these components and their licenses is available in the Software’s documentation. Nothing in these Terms restricts your rights under those open source licenses.
6. Payment Processing #
All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Paddle handles billing, tax collection, and payment processing. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties #
The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of vulnerabilities.
The Software is a security monitoring tool. It does not guarantee the detection of all threats, intrusions, or anomalies. You are solely responsible for your network security posture and compliance obligations.
8. Limitation of Liability #
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Locked In Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.
9. Termination #
We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
10. Governing Law #
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
11. Changes to These Terms #
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy
Locked In Labs (“we”, “us”) operates the Aletheia Strategic software and website. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect #
Website visitors:
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
- No cookies or tracking scripts beyond what is strictly necessary for site functionality
Customers:
- Name and email address (provided at purchase)
- Payment information (processed entirely by Paddle; we never see or store your card details)
- License key and associated purchase metadata
Software users:
- The Software runs entirely on your hardware. We have no access to your network data, logs, device fingerprints, alerts, or any information processed by the Software.
- The Software does not phone home, transmit telemetry, or send any data to us unless you explicitly opt in to a feature that does so (e.g., update checks). Any such feature will be clearly documented and disabled by default.
How We Use Your Information #
- To fulfill your purchase and deliver license keys
- To send transactional emails (purchase confirmation, license delivery)
- To provide customer support when you contact us
- To comply with legal and tax obligations
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services #
- Paddle: payment processing, billing, and tax compliance. Paddle processes your payment data as an independent controller. See Paddle’s Privacy Policy.
Data Retention #
We retain your purchase and license information for as long as your license is active and as required by tax and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us, subject to our legal retention requirements.
Your Rights #
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability

Children’s Privacy #
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy #
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Since Aletheia Strategic is a downloadable software product with a lifetime license, our refund policy is as follows:
14-Day Refund Window #
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date, for any reason. No questions asked.
How to Request a Refund #
Email hello@aletheiastrategic.com with your order number or the email address used at purchase. Refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
After 14 Days #
Refunds after the 14-day window are granted at our discretion for cases such as:
- Significant unresolved technical issues that prevent the Software from functioning
- Duplicate purchases
What Happens After a Refund #
Upon refund, your license key is deactivated. You must uninstall and cease using the Software.
