Weekly profile updates

New devices hit the market constantly. Device Intel adds fingerprints for new hardware so Huginn identifies them on sight, not as "Unknown device."

Detection pattern updates

New behavioral signatures, refined anomaly thresholds, and updated threat patterns based on real-world telemetry from the Huginn community.

Device Intel is included with every paid license. Community tier users keep the built-in profiles that ship with Huginn.

Is the license really forever?

Yes. You pay once and own your license forever. Software updates and Device Intel are included at no additional cost. No subscription, no renewal, no rug pull.

What happens if I outgrow my tier?

Pay the difference between tiers. Contact us and we'll issue a new license key.

Does it phone home?

Huginn makes one outbound HTTPS request per day to check for Device Intel profile updates and license renewals. These requests contain only your license ID -- no device data, no network data, no telemetry of any kind. You can disable this entirely; the product keeps working with whatever license and profiles are already on disk.

How does MSP pricing work?

$500/month (billed annually). Unlimited devices, unlimited sites. Each site gets its own tenant and alerts. You manage all sites from a single multi-site dashboard.

What network hardware does it work with?

Anything that sends syslog. We have first-class CEF parsing for UniFi, plus standard syslog (RFC 3164/5424) that works with pfSense, OPNsense, MikroTik, and everything else. New parsers are added regularly.

What hardware do I need?

Any x86_64 machine with 2+ GB RAM and 16+ GB storage. An Intel N100 mini-PC ($150-200) is more than enough. It also runs in a VM or Docker container on existing hardware.

How does it compare to Wazuh or Security Onion?

Those are excellent tools for security professionals who want full control. Huginn is for network admins who want device visibility and anomaly detection without spending 20+ hours on setup. We focus on device fingerprinting and behavioral baselines -- capabilities those tools don't have.
